Greetings from Jennifer at Ordinary Nature!

This last week I’ve been enjoying peak bloom of the rose and flowers gardens adjacent to the Kennewick Library. I’ve had a terrible head cold all week and keep going to the gardens to stroll and admire the colors so I can forget about being sick. It works for about an hour!

I’ll be guiding a donation-based nature workshop on Saturday, June 7th, 9:00-11:00am at Leslie Groves Park in Richland. This workshop will focus on how we can create our own calm in relationship with nature, as well as celebrate our creativity by working with nature to make art.

We will be gathering near the Park Street entrance of Leslie Groves Park, meeting up by the bathroom building and covered pavilion. From that meet up point we will be wandering and exploring, with various stops in the morning for the workshop.
