Greetings!
It was great to meet you at the Earth Day event over the weekend at The Reach. Thank you for stopping to talk with me, and learn about my venture, Ordinary Nature!
I offer forest bathing-inspired nature walks, practices, and workshops both locally and around the country. My passion is helping others create ways of relating with nature that work best for their lifestyle and location. I’m especially interested in how we can connect with nature without needing gear or special skills, starting right where we are, however we are.
My former career was as a humanities professor. My certifications in nature-based education are from the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy Guides and the Morning Altars curriculum.
My next free, local event will be a forest bathing talk & walk at Mid-Columbia Libraries, Kennewick Library Branch on Saturday, May 3 @ 10:00-11:30am. The meet up location is the outdoor classroom adjacent to the library, at the start of the WSU Master Gardeners Gardens behind the library. This event is appropriate for anyone, regardless of age or ability/mobility level:

For a free mini-practice from a forest-bathing style of connecting with nature check out my free video on YouTube.
Thank you for reading & I hope to see you again, in the outdoors!
